Hi, I’m Julia, and I teach yoga at Anjali Studio. After several years working in international peacekeeping with the UN in New York, I now dedicate my energy to fostering inner peace and well-being within my community here in Basel. My yoga classes are designed to nourish the body, mind, and soul equally. Each class follows a thoughtfully crafted sequence that helps you connect with yourself and deepen your practicecontinuously—whether youre new to yoga or have already gained experience. It’s particularly important to me that you find a healthy alignment in every asana and fully unlock its transformative effects. Therefore, I provide precise and supportive instructions and enjoyworking with props such as blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps.I have been practicing yoga for over 14 years—both on and off the mat. Along my personal yoga journey, I have explored and deepened my understanding of different yoga practices, including Pranayama, Meditation, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and morerecently, Ashtanga Yoga. These diverse influences shape my teaching style and create a nourishing and varied yoga experience.
